Synthetic turf rebates are offered by cities and counties throughout Northern California to help increase their water-saving efforts. Artificial turf does not require water, so switching to it helps conserve resources. Rebate programs are available to businesses and homeowners who choose to replace their lawns with synthetic turf. If you wish to qualify for a rebate, your project may need to be inspected and approved by the city.

The rebate amount may not exceed $3,000 per residential City of Modesto water account and/or $6,000 per commercial City of Modesto water account.
Residential customers may receive a rebate of $1.00/square foot up to a maximum of $2,000 per household or $1.50/square foot up to a maximum of $2,500 for commercial and industrial.
The City of Roseville will rebate customer $1.00 per square foot of turf grass removed and replaced with water efficient landscape up to $1000 per address.
